WINDOWS VISTA SERVICE PACK 1 SLOW THAN THE ORIGINAL EDITION

Devil Mountain Software, a Floridan performance testing and network metrics software realeses that Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) can't satisfies the world due to it's less speed. Thier chief technology officer, Craig Barth added that, "Microsoft has hinted that SP1 is faster than Vista RTM, but we found pretty much nothing measurable. It surprised me as much as it surprised everyone else, but the numbers are the numbers."

After thier research, the Devil Mountain publishes that SP1 is never more than 1% or 2% faster. According to them, the main difference between the Vista RTM and SP1 was "statistically insignificant", and in case of multitasking programming SP1's result is less than 1% fasterthan the Vista RTM.

The poor architecture and features, making it considerably slower. Microsoft are going to launch a pair of performance packs via Windows Update. But they remain silent in this fact.

Barth said that "Our goal wasn't to bash Vista, we've been doing this for a while, we know how to do it, and we tried to be as clinical as possible. But SP1 is not going to be a panacea for any performance problems users have with Vista. If you've been disappointed with the performance of Windows Vista, you're not going to be any happier with SP1."
